A memorial wreath was laid by the Chair of the Parish Council, Jayne Sabido, to honour all those from Calow who fought and died during the First and Second World Wars.

Sadly COVID-19 prevented the usual service from taking place.

It is anticipated that the proposal will take the form of a hybrid planning application comprising two main phases. It is anticipated that the first, detailed phase will include development in the order of 70-80 modern dwellings to the northern boundary of the site adjacent existing development, whilst the second outline phase will seek agreement in principle for approximately a further 140 dwellings, both with a proportion of affordable homes. The later second phase will seek to reserve all details such as final layout and specific house design for agreement as part of subsequent applications, save for new access points which are anticipated from Oaks Farm Lane and Dark Lane.
